TyreSafe is delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Crook as its newest Trustee, following his election at the Annual General Meeting on 12th November 2024. Tony, a seasoned road safety expert, brings with him decades of experience and a deep commitment to improving road safety across the UK.
Having served as a Steering Committee member since April, Tony currently leads as Road Safety Manager for Lancashire County Council, where he heads teams dedicated to education, engagement, and speed assessment. Tony has played a pivotal role in authoring the Authority’s Road Safety Strategy and actively chairs the Delivery Group of the Lancashire Road Safety Partnership. His previous tenure at Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service included leading Corporate Intelligence, Emergency Planning, and serving as the National Fire Chief Council’s Lead Officer for Road Safety. His experience also includes presenting at numerous conferences, reflecting a lifetime commitment to safer roads.
